Nowadays, when there are many large chain cafes all over the street in the downtown area and even in front of the house, there are more and more people looking for small, unique cafes. Even if it's hidden in a small neighborhood alley or located on a hillside far from the downtown area, they are happy to find it as if they were dreaming of their own hideout. In the midst of this trend, small spaces where few people even know about the existence of cafes have rapidly increased the number of visitors due to the wave of social media, and before you know it, it has become a place where waiting is essential. However, not every space is transformed into a so-called hot cafe.
Nevertheless, there is a cafe that expanded from Songpa to Sinsa and Gangnam Station after a year, after seeing people waiting from the opening of the city. Although the space is small, those who visit each store with a different concept and dessert menu will introduce âGet Some Coffee,â which caught their eye and mouth.

Three types of scones are prepared
Then came the summer of 2016, July 20. The Getsome Coffee Shrine store has opened. If you go through the main street of Garosu-gil and enter the alley, you will find the second branch of Getsome Coffee located in a relatively quiet alley. The interior, which passes through a small terrace, has a clean yet warm atmosphere with a wooden interior. There are unusual interior accessories, cacti, and flower pots all over the store, which blend strangely well with the unique style of furniture. At Getsome Coffee Sinsa, coffee and scones are served in egg-plate-shaped trays, and scones are particularly popular. As for scones, there are 3 types of signature dishes that can only be enjoyed at the Sinsa branch, and different flavors are prepared depending on the season. âDutch pepper,â which is served by putting sweet cream on coffee brewed with cold brew and grinding savory beans like pepper, is also popular. The combination of soft cream and Dutch coffee has a sweet yet rich flavor, so you can enjoy it regardless of whether you like it or not.

The sign for Get Some Coffee hidden underground
Clean Getsome Coffee 3rd store DOWNSTAIRS
Clean Getsome Coffee 3rd store DOWNSTAIRS
Then, after 6 months, Getsome Coffee DOWNSTARIS opened in the basement of a hillside alley at Gangnam Station on December 13. The signboard isn't easy to see, so it's easy to pass by, but it feels like a secret hideout of your own. When you open the door and go down to the basement, warm wooden furniture is harmoniously decorated along the neatly painted walls. Carols echoing through the store in a warm and cozy atmosphere. The fragrant smell of coffee and the candles scattered all over the place are reminiscent of a sacred monastery.
An interior that brings out the feeling of warm wooden furniture
All the different chair interiors are attractive
At DOWNSTARIS, the third branch of Getsome Coffee, you can see a lot of SHARE CHAIRS, which is a reminder that strangers can sit around a table, enjoy the same coffee in the same space, and become friends who share their tastes. It also goes well with the philosophy of Getsome Coffee, which strives to create a flexible coffee culture that is free and unspecified. At Getsome Coffee, where there are many customers who actually visit alone, you can see the chairs surrounding the large table filled one by one by one with people visiting alone, as the boss wishes.
Espresso machine on an island bar
Candlelight everywhere is sacred
The âIsland Bar,â the signature interior of Getsome Coffee, is located in a coffee-making space set up like a stage device on top of two steps. The process of baristas brewing coffee and making drinks in a free atmosphere can be viewed without adding or subtracting from the open kitchen.
Coffees on a white canvas
Bacon-studded bacon chocolate chip cookies
Since it is currently open, all drinks are served in take-out glasses. Unlike the egg-plate-shaped tray at the second store, coffee is served on a canvas with a white background on which you can draw anything at the third store. This shows the intention of putting Getsome Coffee on a canvas and providing it to customers as a complete work. The coffee and drink menu is the same at the Songpa branch, Sinsa branch, and Gangnam branch. However, if the first store has brownies and the second store has scones, the third store has âbacon chocolate chip cookies.â Also known as sweet and salty cookies that mix the salty flavor of bacon with the sweet flavor of chunk chocolate chips.
There are some likes and dislikes for the combination they see for the first time, but it is said that most people reorder as if they were haunted by the addictive sweet combination.
The Songpa store, Sinsa store, and Gangnam DOWN STAIRS all have different charms. If you're already looking forward to the next store, you're already a Getsome lover! How about going out to one of the three places this weekend that has the atmosphere and dessert of your choice? MAKE YOUR COFFEE BETTER.
