Yeouido | Heejeong Restaurant
I went to Heejeong Restaurant, an old gourmet restaurant in Yeouido. I learned about Budae Jjjigae restaurant through a gourmet dinner party, and there were many customers even though it was a weekend where the floating population was lower (than usual).
The signature menu is Heejeongbudae Jjigae (10,000 won per person) and T-bone steak, and as of 2017, no alcoholic beverages are sold.

The side dishes are simply served with pickled radish and kimchi. The rice was better because it wasn't white rice but brown rice. Saree such as ramen and mochi are not added separately; ham, meat, and bacon can be added.

The soup is refreshing. Budae jjjigae is likely to become greasy and sticky because it contains a lot of ingredients. Furthermore, Heejeong Diner's Budae Jjigae uses a lot of garlic. Compared to that, the soup has a pretty cool flavor. The secret is probably the secret broth, right? I was impressed by the boss, and it was a nice restaurant because he took good care of it.
I really wanted to eat T-bone steak too, but I gave up because it was too much for the two of us to eat. I think the best combination would be for at least 3-4 people to go and have Budae Jjigae and T-bone steak together.
It was the last meal of 2016, and I was satisfied. I have to go again!
