Food from around the world in one place – 1059

There are many countries that
seem so close and far away that you can even go on a trip with just the slightest interest. However, their home-cooked meals can also be fully enjoyed in Korea. From Italian pasta that we are familiar with to traditional Tunisian dishes whose names are not even familiar. From now on, let's host each country's “traditional home-style Olympics” with Shikigami. (Where is
the gold medal in my mind~?)

1.
'Lundfans' in Seongsu-dong with the local atmosphere of France

Go to store information ▶

When you think of a French restaurant, it's easy to think of a big, colorful restaurant, but Lung Pang, located inside an
alley in Seongsu-dong, draws people's attention with its small and humble atmosphere. Lung Pang's offers a variety of
French dishes, but there is a
set menu that includes today's pasta, risotto, and brunch, which is only available at lunchtime, so even first-time visitors can order without difficulty. “Endive,” which is a vegetable endive similar to Chinese cabbage in Korea, is topped with goat cheese and nuts, and topped with grapefruit and raisin compote, is the most popular appetizer menu of this place. The crunchy texture blends well with the aroma of the nuts
and the fresh flavor of the sauce, which
enhances the taste.
Main dishes such as pasta and risotto are also characterized by a non-irritating flavor that minimizes liver.

Exotic “Couscous ” is a Tunisian restaurant located in Seochon. Couscous, the signature dish of couscous, is a traditional Tunisian dish eaten by putting meat and vegetables on steamed rice. You can choose between lamb and
chicken, so if you don't like lamb, I recommend chicken. It has an aroma and texture
similar to Korean food, and is characterized by being able to eat Tunisian food without hesitation even if it's your first time tasting it. First-time visitors should order a set menu where they can enjoy a variety of dishes little by little.

“The Baker's Table”, which has an exotic feel, is a German bakery where you can find traditional German bread, sandwiches, and brunch in a rustic style. The signature brunch menu of this place, which became even more famous after being shown in the Brunch section of the Demand Gourmet Party, boasts a hearty portion of the daily
soup (sweet pumpkin, broccoli, mushroom, tomato) and the German-style
pork cutlet “schnitzel.”
The soup is thin enough to remind me of Korean
soup, but it has a deep flavor that is called Haejang soup. In addition to the brunch menu, light breads are also available, so don't be disappointed if you miss brunch time.

▲Location:
▲Business hours: 08:00 — 21:00 (brunch 08:00 – 13:00) ▲Price: The Farmer: 10,500 won
▲Review (Shikigami Potato): Potato soup was a big hit!!!! It was really delicious. I ate the delicious soup after a while. Other than the soup here, the desserts and brunch were all fine ~ everyone should try it ^0^***

“Blooming London”, which stands out for its sentimental interior, is a restaurant that specializes in English-style home-cooked meals. “Sunday roast,” which is the
most popular menu item here, is an English-style steak eaten with various steamed
vegetables. The tender meat and unique sauce go well with the vegetables, and the flavor is excellent.
The “Shrimp Potato
Tower,” which combines meshed potatoes with chewy shrimp, is also one of the most popular dishes, and even added the flavor of putting mashed potatoes on top of each other.
The combination of soft
potatoes, shrimp, and sweet pineapples breaks the prejudice that “British food is
tasteless.”

At the Japanese dining pub “Ray Restaurant,” you can enjoy
Japanese home-cooked meals. The most popular menu item is the unique
Japanese style “hijiki pasta,” which can only be found at Loray Restaurant. Unlike
traditional pasta topped with sauce, the homemade soup is served with pasta noodles, hiki, and
grilled chicken thighs to give it a different flavor, and it is also a delicacy to grate rice on the leftover broth. “Butagakuni (steamed pork ribs steamed in sauce) set meal” and “mentaiko cream
pasta” are also popular menus. Alcoholic beverages
such as beer and house wine are also available, making it a great place to visit in the evening.

Vietnamese home-style 'Anh' in Yeonnam-dong full of sincerity

Go to store information ▶

“An”, located in Yeonnam-dong, is
a Vietnamese home-cooked restaurant with unique Vietnamese spices. The appetizer menu “Lauram Papaya Salad” is popular because
the crunchy papaya enhances the texture along with shrimp and pork, and the
salty yet sour fish sauce enhances the taste. “Buncha,” a Vietnamese bibim-noodle topped with
lemongrass-scented pork spring rolls and savory peanuts, has a sweet and sour flavor that is great to eat as a
summer delicacy.
Most of the menu here uses strong spices and coriander, so if you don't feel like it, it's a good idea to talk to the staff in advance to adjust the amount of spices when ordering. Note that you'll
have to wait on the weekends.

Go to store information ▶

At “El Olivo,” where the exterior and interior of the building seem to have been taken from Spain, you can enjoy
traditional Spanish cuisine in an atmosphere that feels like being invited to a Spanish family home.
The most popular dish on the menu is “gambas al ajillo,” which is cooked in olive oil, shrimp, and garlic in a small pot, and is a typical Spanish dish eaten with bread. “Paella,” which can be described as Spanish fried rice, is also popular, and it combines rice,
meat, seafood, and vegetables, and boasts a flavor that even first-time Spanish food eaters can enjoy without hesitation. There are 2 – and 4-person set menus, so it's a good idea to check out when visiting with family or a partner.
