Tokyo Shibuya | THE SANDWICH HOUSE 55
Tokyo Shibuya | The Sandwich House 55
A restaurant with a nice atmosphere located in Shibuya. This time I wanted to go to a restaurant unknown to Koreans. So I learned about The Sandwich House 55 through recommendations from TripAdvisor and a friend in Tokyo.
Today's soup with an original Montecristo/club sandwich/hamburger for ¥1,250 (tax included) as a weekday lunch menu,
You can enjoy mini salads and drinks.
The day I visited was Friday, but it was the day of the king's birthday… (After all, it's not helpful..) I ordered it as a single item.

I thought the main chef was a foreigner.
There are some middle-aged Japanese men who are very stylish and have a European feel, and the chef here was just like that. Since I came from a foreign country to study cooking, they were fluent in English and spoke to me in a friendly manner.
Also, I felt that I should study English a little harder. As the conversation with the chef got longer, I felt that my vocabulary and expression were limited…
While the food was being prepared, I sat in a seat and looked around the kitchen.
Montecristo 03 ham, chicken & vegetables ï¿¥1,080
Orange juice ï¿¥400
The restaurant's main menu is Montecristo sandwiches and club sandwiches. In addition, 55 main menus are also available, including hamburgers, hot dogs, and eggs benedict. The menu has detailed pictures and additional ingredients,
A pamphlet in English is provided to foreigners.
Montecristo was my first meal in Bennigan's, so I thought it was a sandwich deep-fried like Bennigan's. However, it is actually a variation of croque monsieur and is called a sandwich with French toast.
Blueberry and strawberry compote
French toast goes well with white bread, filling ingredients, and fruit compotes.
Sweet potato chips that come with it

Actually, French toast or sandwiches are a menu that is hard to surpass the flavor category you can imagine. Still, if you consider the overall vibe, service, and menu of the restaurant, I would recommend Shibuya as a restaurant.
Red Rock and Motomura Gyukatsu, which are famous among Koreans and tourists, are also good, but
If I go back to Tokyo, I want to go back to this restaurant.
