Hapjeong Tavern | YUME
My favorite bar, Izakaya Yume, in Hapjeong. Actually, I've only been there once, but it's a pretty good memory, so I plan to go there often in the future. It was located at the back of the main road in Hapjeong commercial district, so it was a place where I could go in a relaxed manner rather than the hustle and bustle.

Premium Craft Sake Dokuri
Mochiri-dofu
Soy sauce shrimp (4pcs) and butter rice
Choose 2 main dishes (stir-fried pork with bean sprouts, clam soup)
Mochiri-dofu
Mochiri-dofu made from kudzu and tofu. It is also called daifuku tofu in Korea. It was the first food I ate on this day, but it looked like pudding, and when I ate it, it was a strange food that felt chewy like mochi. It is said that if you go to a good izakaya, mochiri dofu is always there.
If you prick it slightly with chopsticks, the stickiness is enormous. This menu is finished by sprinkling soy sauce over it and adding wasabi.
I was a little afraid of food I had never eaten, but I felt so good after eating it. I discovered a new texture and taste.
Soy sauce shrimp (4pcs) and butter rice
A very famous combination – a partner that can't be tasteless. I think it's a tonkatsu-like menu that doesn't fail for some reason.
If you put soy sauce shrimp broth, onion slices, and cheongyang pepper in butter rice topped with a fried egg, and eat a bite with shrimp meat, that place is heaven…

Hapjeong Tavern | YUME
Clam soup
Yume's clam soup made with the unique flavors of each ingredient. It was a menu that was as refreshing as I was bored, and I was able to enjoy the unique flavors of the brewery.
Stir-fried pork with bean sprouts
I like this menu so much that I often eat hammocks at home. If you don't eat it when you go to an izakaya, it's probably the kind of food you'd be afraid to eat. Simple yet delicious stir-fried pork with bean sprouts.
It was the most delicious menu I've eaten at Yume. Because it was my original favorite menu…

Hapjeong Yume has been to many celebrities. It is said that only up to 5 people can enter for a quiet izakaya atmosphere.
At Yume, all menus are made directly at the store. It was a place where all of the dishes they ordered were thoughtful and delicious. I was satisfied with both the atmosphere and the taste, so it was a bar I would like to visit again.
Next time, don't drink alone; take your friends with you!
