It's a small bakery by Ha Su-yeol, who has gained a lot of experience at Le Cordon Bleu in France, the National Confectionery School in Weimheim, Germany, and Tokyo Confectionery College, where you can find “pole bread” with a crispy surface and moist inner skin, “cream brappin” with onion cream cheese, and “Castilla” with a soft flavor that melts in your mouth. A total of 470 pieces of bread that can be made in one day while maintaining quality are produced two times a day (11:00 a.m., 4 p.m. Wuhu), 95 pieces of French bread, 95 cream bread pins, and 45 pieces of Castilian bread. All breads can only be purchased one by type on a first-come, first-served basis, and in the case of Castile, the maximum production volume is 45, so it may be difficult for customers who visit after that.

[Tips for eating food]

▲Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday 11:00 to 19:00 (early closing if sold out), closed on Mondays

▲Price: Paul's bread 5,600 won, cream braffin 5,800 won, Castilian 5,500 won

▲Testimonial (Cezel the Devil): A bakery in Sangsu-dong that makes Castile, the origin of castella. Paul 310's chef has a brilliant career, and when he comes to Master of Life, the lines and waits are incredible. It opened at 11:00 and arrived at 11:00, but it's already 77 times. Fortunately, I was able to taste it. It's a pity that there was only one per person.

This bakery is famous for its baguette restaurant, where 6 types of French flour are divided into 3 parts, kneaded in different ways, and then put them all together. The representative baguettes (monjou baguette, millet baguette) are 100% reservation system, and you can only reserve up to 5 of each. Unlike the crunchy exterior, “monjou baguette” has a thick, chewy texture with holes on the inside. Along with the savory flavor, the subtle, fermented, sour flavor is also impressive. “Milzer baguette” is characterized by being slightly softer on the outside than monjou baguette. Another popular menu item, “ciabatta,” is characterized by using olive oil made from a mixture of 3 types of flour and boiled with oats in the dough to maximize the texture and light flavor. Bread other than baguette can be purchased at the store without a separate reservation.

[Shikigami's Tip]

▲Business hours: Wednesday to Sunday 10:00 to 15:00, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

▲Price: Monjou baguette 4,500 won, Millet baguette 5,500 won

▲Testimonial (Shikigami MA1MA2MA3): The satisfying baguette and banana pudding combination is great. It's great that I moved to Yeoksam, but it's really hard not being able to buy the bread I want because of the reservation system.

Chef Kim Dae-cheon of ToctoC's newly opened bread specialty store “Gourmet Hall” is a combination of the kanji for rice (food), bread, house (house), and has the meaning of “a house that makes bread for meals.” There are three representative types of bread: “plain” bread that is comfortable and can be enjoyed for multiple purposes; “natural” bread that is easy to eat on its own without baking; and “rich” bread that is lightly baked and goes well with French toast, foie gras, soup, and salad. Plain represents the most basic meal bread and is characterized by simply blending flour, butter, and milk, and Natural is characterized by adding honey and yogurt instead of sugar to create a mild sweetness. You can enjoy the savory flavor and sweetness of lychee with butter, eggs, and milk. In addition, “French toast” and “sausage bread” made with plenty of maple syrup are also available, so please note.

[Shikigami's Tip]

▲Opening hours: 11:00 to 20:00 every day, closed on Sundays

▲Price: Plain (Full) 7,000 won, Natural (Full) 12,000 won, Rich (Full) 9,000 won

▲Testimonial (shikigin's foot socks): It was a great taste. It's a bread shop opened by Chef Kim Dae-cheon, who has a deep love for bread to the extent that he bakes 6 types of bread in the restaurant kitchen, which makes me even more believable.

Located in a residential alley in Nonhyeon-dong, this bakery makes bread using French flour and naturally fermented varieties. Sandwiches made with salami, butter, prosciutto, brie cheese, and apples in a light baguette, and sandwiches filled with egg salad on soft ciabatta are popular meal replacements. The “grill sandwich,” which was newly introduced recently, has an excellent crunchy texture by putting homemade bell pepper jam, cheese, and arugula between baguettes and grilling it one more time. The combination of sweet bell pepper jam and salty cheese is impressive. Baked sweets and tarts such as Madeleine, Huinang Si, and cannelé, where you can enjoy the deep flavor of butter are also popular.

[Shikigami's Tip]

▲Opening hours: 11:00 to 18:00 every day, closed on Sundays and Mondays

▲Price: Grill sandwich 7,000 won, egg salad sandwich 5,500 won, Huinang city 2,500 won

▲Testimonial (Let's play with me): The grilled sandwiches are really delicious… I took a bite of a warm sandwich while waiting in a cold place, and it melted down. The texture was perfect, and it was sweeter than I thought, so it was unusual! Sweet salty sweet

“OUR BAKERY” has enjoyed steady popularity since opening for its bread baked directly from the store and its unique coffee menu. The signature menu is “dirty chocolate,” which is a crispy pastry coated with dark chocolate and cocoa powder. You can enjoy the luxurious chocolate flavor of Hit-and-Go Chocolat made with Valrhona or cocoa. They bake it twice a day, but they sell out quickly, so be sure to check it out when you visit. “Tiramisu Pastry,” which is flavored with mascarpone cheese cream and coffee cream, and “Butter Pretzel,” where you can enjoy both saltiness and aroma by sanding in flavorful gourmet butter, are also popular bakeries. As cafe drinks, “Green Tea Double” and “Vanilla Double,” where the bitterness of green tea blends with a savory latte, are popular.

[Shikigami's Tip]

▲Business hours: 09:00 to 21:00 on weekdays, 10:00 to 21:00 on weekends and holidays

▲Price: Dirty chocolate 4,300 won, green tea double 4,000 won

▲Testimonial (*The sand is sparkle*): The pastries are really delicious. Does it use high quality butter or has a good flavor. I came here because the bread is delicious, but the coffee is also really delicious.
