A variety of local bakeries are springing up with their own unique characteristics. In addition to naturally fermented varieties, healthy bakeries that use organic flour and do not use chemical additives, popular bakeries with social media, and even new bakeries that haven't been open for a month. All of these bakeries are located in
the âOksu-dongâ residential area.
Although it has a steep hillside terrain, there are so many people lining up even on weekdays, and it is
emerging as a place for bread lovers to go on a bread tour. The best bakery in my town where Dokseodang Road, uphill roads, and steep journeys are forgiven! Here are 5 of the best bakeries in Oksu-dong.
1. Quality is a gracious bakery, Geumho-dong's 'Two Foods Up'

[Tips for eating food]
â²Location: #403, Daewoo Apartment Shopping District 270, Dokseodang-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
â²Business hours: 12:00-20:00 on weekdays, 12:00-17:00 on Saturdays, closed on Sundays
â²Price: 2,500 won for scones, 7,900 won for chestnut moss, 3,800 won for cube bread
â²Testimonial (Eunae Shikigami): I was really curious about chestnut butter, so I ordered and packed it, but chestnut paste and thick slices of gourmet butter were added to the cute, mini-sized hard bread. Soft butter and red bean paste on top of the crunchy bread. Unlike the hard outer surface, the bread was quite chewy. It was a very tasty bread with a savory shell and chewiness. I had hoped that the chestnut paste wouldn't taste like babamba, but that wasn't. It's not a chestnut flavor that's full of sugar, it's a real chestnut flavor. The taste of chestnuts cooked deliciously without being very sweet. It wasn't as hungry as a chestnut, and it was much softer. Each ingredient was so delicious. However, the smooth texture of chestnut paste and butter overlapped so much that it added a fun texture. The various scones and brownies that were packed together were also eaten deliciously with all the ingredients. A bakery so satisfying that I lost my memories of climbing the hill. No, I'll take full advantage and visit again!
