“Son Ga Kitchen” is a udon specialty store where you are greeted by a small wooden sign as you walk down the path at the bottom of a mountain valley. This is a place run by a potter and his wife together with their workshop. The signature menu is “Seafood Kamaboko Hot Pot,” which has a sharp soup flavor. Along with plentiful seafood, it is full of deep-fried tofu pockets, various fish cakes, and chewy udon noodles. Soy sauce is not provided to help the different flavors of kamaboko be tasted.
