Along with the increase in single-person households, the number of âhonbap peopleâ who enjoy eating alone in restaurants is increasing. In line with this, more and more restaurants are offering one-person menus for hombap families. From pork gukbap to hearty filling, beef grilled in a brazier, bento boxes that change the menu every day, majesoba with attractive, chewy noodles, and hot pot with addictive spiciness! Stop the prejudice that eating alone is shabby! Here are 5 restaurants recommended by Seoul's professional honbappers.
1. Enjoy pork in a brazier for one person, 'boating' in Yeonnam-dong

2. Clear and refreshing broth, 'Okdong-sik' in Seogyo-dong

â²Location: 44-10, Yanghwa-ro 7-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul
â²Opening hours: 11:30 – 19:30 every day, B/T 14:00 – 17:00
â²Price: Pork gomguk soup 8,000 won, special gomguk soup 14,000 won, cup drink 2,000 won
â²Review (Shikigin Bib Gourmand): Okdong-sik breaks the stereotype of pork gukbap and sundaeguk and sells only a single item of pork gomguk soup, which is the first time I've heard a clear and clean name. The broth was occasional but refreshing, had a slight dry flavor, and was great to eat with kimchi. Above all, the ripe kimchi and kakuteki were cooked to my favorite state when I ate gukbap, which made the gukbap taste even more delicious. I was full after eating 2 bowls, but one bowl was a bit insufficient for an adult man, and since it's only been a few days since it opened now, the quality of kimchi is S grade, but I think the current kimchi flavor will continue to be popular for a long time.
3. âBento House Mimiâ in Seogyo-dong, a healthy diet that changes every day

â²Location: 54-13, Wausan-ro 29ga-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul
â²Opening hours: 10:00 to 18:00 every day, closed on Sundays
â²Price: Today's menu 8,000 – 11,000 won
â²Review (Shikigami Mibling): Mimi, a famous bento restaurant in Hongdae! You can go and eat it yourself, but they sell out quickly to places where delivery is possible, so it's a good idea to order in advance! Bento restaurant Mimi got rid of the prejudice that bento boxes aren't tasty! Even though it was a delivery product, it was really filling as a one-meal meal, and the bento itself and the composition were all fine, as if the liver was not irritating and not artificial, just eating a meal for mom. So I'm going to try it myself next time, but the price isn't too expensive, but if it just tastes good, that's enough!
4. Tangle Tangle! 'Kandasoba' in Seochon with chewy noodles
