Just looking at the cool, open sea of âHaeundaeâ will leave your heart feeling overwhelmed. Haeundae, the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Busan, has a gorgeous landscape that combines the sea with modern buildings. Recently, an alley named âHaridan-gilâ has sprung up behind Haeundae Station on the old Donghae Nambu Line, with cafes and restaurants with a youthful personality. Word of mouth spread on social media, caught the attention of tourists, and became another attraction in Haeundae. We've collected everything from European cuisines that will add to the perfection of your vacation to places that are emerging as new hot spots! Let's go to Haeundae, where the warm sun and blue sea invite you right away!
1. âNick's Grillâ in the Middle East , a hotel restaurant that satisfies both ocean views and value for money

'Nick's Grill' is a European cuisine located in the new building of Haeundae Paradise Hotel. The window seat where you can enjoy a meal while looking out at the blue sea that spreads out through the glass is very popular regardless of the season. Following the brunch, which was newly launched last year and received a great response, this time we are introducing a new dinner menu called âEnsembleâ with a reasonable price. The ensemble menu includes a steak or pasta main dish, a side menu using seasonal ingredients, and a salad at an unbeatable price. A brunch menu has also been added to match the spring season. The âMaesangi Risotto with Mushrooms,â which is based on maesaengi and generously incorporates seafood such as mussels and hachi to capture the rich flavor of the sea, is representative. The point is that sesame oil brought out the aroma even more. In addition to the best-selling âFrench toastâ and âhamburger gratinâ at lunchtime, they also have dessert menus such as cakes.

â²Testimonial (Shikigin Jin Ramen Shin Ramen): We booked a window seat and sat down, and the view was amazing. They recommended the new ensemble menu, and I enjoyed it, and it was nice to be able to eat everything. The steak melts in your mouth.. Since they mentioned ingredients they couldn't eat, they kindly changed them to other foods. I often go to hotels, and the meal here was the best!
2. Moist Japanese-style pound cake, udon âAnoru Confectioneryâ

âAnoru Pastry Shopâ is a Japanese pound cake specialty store with a small space. It is a place that bakes bread with quality ingredients such as domestic flour, French gourmet butter, antibiotic-free oyster eggs, and seasonal fruits. The signature menu is the dainty square-shaped âpound cake.â There are 6 types of seasonal menus prepared every month, including vanilla, matcha, chocolate, chocolat (dried chestnut with the skin), kudamono (dried fruit), and a cherry blossom menu will be launched in April. Among them, âBoyeom Balm,â which adds the sweetness and subtle aroma of chestnuts to a moist pound cake, is the most popular. Along with the cake, I also like âOkinawa salt milk,â which combines sweet jelly in savory milk with salt from Okinawa to create a sweet and salty balance.

I packed a pound, and it was fun to eat metallurgy, but it was also fun to choose because of the variety of flavors! Since it's possible to order a courier, I'll have to try it often by courier in the future!

The âBurger Shopâ exudes an exotic atmosphere with the exterior of the building decorated with neon signs and the colorful interior. Here, you can enjoy homemade burgers that are full of moist and juicy using 100% Korean beef patties. The signature menu, âBacon Cheeseburger,â is a thick beef patty, cheese, lettuce, bacon, onion, jalapeno, and tomato in a fluffy bun. Starting with the rich umami and flavor of the beef patty, cheese, and bacon, the jalapeno and onion soothe and finish cleanly. All burger menus can be enjoyed as a set menu with half-sized french fries and cola for an additional 4,000 won.

4. Round ball shaped sushi and udon âSakana Shokudoâ

âSakana Restaurantâ is located on the 2nd floor of a red brick building. Inside the store, there are a variety of seats, from bar-shaped tables to tables for 2 or 4 people. The signature menu is âball sushi,â which is causing a wave of certified shots on social media with its colorful colors and cute visuals. Unlike regular sushi, it is characterized by the shape of shari in a round shape and topped with sushi ingredients. It comes with a combination of chewy shrimp sushi, fresh flounder, daikon, salmon, and tuna fish sushi, and flavored beef/salmon tataki sushi, so it's easy to choose and eat according to your taste. Another popular menu is the âChicken Karaage Set,â where you can enjoy plenty of sushi, mini suji udon, and crispy deep-fried chicken.

â²Testimonial (My face looks like shaved tofu): This is the first time I've seen sushi with round visuals! It's easy to put in one bite~ They also give you lots of raw wasabi, so you can put in as much as you like. Also, I ordered a set menu and ate udon, and it was hearty because the soup was heavy.
5. Udon âTaree Restaurantâ to enjoy in a sensuous atmosphere

âTaree Restaurantâ is a pasta specialty restaurant near Haeundae Station Exit 4. It was reopened in Jwa-dong to its current location in September last year, adding a stylish interior. The signature menu, âShrimp Pasta,â puts arugula and plump shrimp on top of spaghetti noodles mixed with rich cream sauce. The rich cream sauce is soaked between the noodles, and the rich aroma that fills your mouth every time you chew is exquisite. âPizza pie,â which is baked with plenty of Italian sausage and pepperoni on a thick pizza dough, is also a popular menu. The store signs are not easily visible, so I recommend checking the exterior of the building when visiting.
