Shikishin released the âNational Pyongyang Cold Noodle Taste Mapâ for 3.7 million users until March 2019, which analyzed big data based on user reviews and evaluations.
Shikshin's '2019 National Pyongyang Naengmyeon Taste Map' includes a total of 44 Pyongyang cold noodle restaurants located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Gyeongsang, Chungcheong, Busan, Jeolla, and Jeju.
If you look at the selected major restaurants, you can see that they include long-established stores with a long history as well as new stores that have recently been newly created. Most stores sell Pyongyang cold noodles along with fishcake trays and North Korean dumplings, so you can find a variety of North Korean food.
Also, places where chefs from North Korea recreate the flavors of their hometown, such as âJaeseong Myeonokâ in Yongin, âPyongyang Naengmyeonâ in Chuncheon, and âLee Soon-sil's Pyongyangokâ in Jeju, have also made a name for themselves.
