“Jinhae Restaurant” is a marbled briquettes specialty store that has been operating continuously in the corner of Jukbyeon's traditional market since 1955. The building, which has a nostalgic feel that shows signs of 65 years, has a nostalgic atmosphere. CEO Kwon Kyung-sook, a daughter-in-law who inherited the taste of the founder, Grandma Jeong Yun-sun, has been running the store since 1977. Recently, his son-in-law Shin Eun-bok opened a second store near Uljin County Office and has continued the family business from generation to generation.

“Merry Restaurant” has been competing with a single menu from Yukgaejang since 1975. You can find gung-style yukgaejang made according to the recipe given to him by the aunt of the founder Seok Ki-suk, who was the suragan palace of King Soon-jong in the Joseon Dynasty. The signature menu, “yukgaejang,” is so impressive that it contains so many green onions that it is nicknamed pagaejang. Yukgaejang, which is made from a broth made by adding only green onions and brisket to beef bone broth, is not irritating and has a mild yet mild flavor. The combination of green onions and brisket that is soft and crunchy in the soup with the sweet flavor of green onions is attractive.
