2020, which seemed unlikely to come, has arrived. I feel overwhelmed by the intersection of various emotions, such as the excitement of starting a new life and half the sadness of being a year old. In this case, food that delights you not only with its visuals but also with its taste is the greatest comfort. From Korean bars with a hip sensibility to Hong Kong-style dessert restaurants full of exotic sensibility, and cafes that want to capture the flavors of the season using seasonal ingredients! Here are 5 of the best new restaurants in January that open the doors to the new year.
1. 'Hojok Ban' in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, with a Korean sensibility and hip

â²Location: 39, Eonju-ro 164-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
â²Opening hours: 12:00 â 22:00 every day, B/T 16:00 â 18:00, closed on Mondays
â²Price: Perilla oil soba noodles 8,800 won, seasoned yukhoe 19,800 won
â²Testimonial (Shikigami no Hana Pig â¥): I'm already a hipster fan on Instagram! I think it's a place set up by the Downtowner Company. Extremely hip from the entrance.. The interior tableware and furniture are all beautiful. If you actually sell them, you'd want to buy them and take them home… I ate soba noodles with perilla oil and yukhoe bibimbap. I think I'll definitely eat the light yet savory noodles again next time. The bibimbap was a bit chewy, but the amount of yukhoe was pretty good too!
2. Photo zone is everywhere you go, 'Botanic Aden' in Munhyeon-dong, Busan

â²Price: Strawberry cake 7,000 won, Americano 5,000 won
â²Review (Gishinggongkoto): There was a very beautiful cafe on the first basement floor of IFC Mall! I think this is Gyeongju Arden Cafe's 3rd store~ There are so many types of bakeries! Bread is bread too, but it's Instagram-worthy, here… The botanic zone is full of pools.. I haven't been able to touch whether it's a fresh flower or a flower, but I'm already in love with it.. There are all the tasty and pretty things, so I'll have to come back. Unconditionally!

â²Price: Rose pasta 14,000 won, shrimp open sandwich 7,800 won
â²Testimonial (Shikigami Yobyoseyo 114): The entrance is very pretty. Here.. It just says balcony, and if you take a picture in front of the door, it feels a bit like a picture of a trip abroad… It's nice that the interior is also very spacious. In addition to coffee, they also sell menus like brunch and pasta, and it's easy to get together at eleven o'clock. I tried pasta and sandwiches and they were good value for money ^^

â²Location: 7 Gyeryong-ro 367beon-gil, Seo-gu, Daejeon
â²Opening hours: 12:00 â 22:00 every day, closed on Fridays
â²Price: Ice cream Hong Kong waffle 6,800 won, homemade lemon tea 4,500 won
â²Review (After eating): This is a small cafe located near Karma's four streets. I ordered Hong Kong waffles, black sesame spenner, and coffee. Fluffy Hong Kong waffles. Ice cream, yuzu juice? , bananas, and fresh cream came out, and when eaten with waffles, it was light and sweet, so it went well with coffee. The black sesame seed Spener also sued. The atmosphere is great. I recommend it~

â²Location: 37 Yongsu-gil, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju-si, Jeju-do
â²Opening hours: 11:00 â 21:00 every day, closed on Tuesdays
â²Price: Mugwort Injeolmi cream gateau chocolate 5,500 won, lemon cake 3,500 won
â²Review (tiramisu sweetened with food): Very nice cafe! There weren't many people because it was new, but the stone walls were simple and the interior was nice. I was satisfied with both coffee and dessert, but beet latte in particular was different from what it looked like (?) It had a cheesy flavor and a soy milk flavor, so it was new and delicious. The price is cheap, so I think I'll come back if I come to Jeju Island:)
