As soon as you open the door, you'll be greeted by the smell of a sweet dessert called “Gobble. The signature menu, “Congolese waffles,” is freshly baked waffles topped with vanilla ice cream and fresh cream, then finished by sprinkling soy sauce. The waffles are crispy on the outside and have a moist texture on the inside, and the savory sweetness blends into a strangely addictive effect. A variety of dessert menus such as cakes and cookies are also available.

“Goshen” has maintained its place in Cheongdam Café Street for about 50 years since 1972. The signature menu is “Injeolmi Mountain,” which is made by sprinkling plenty of soybean powder on top of hot melted Injeolmi and topped with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. The cold ice cream melts pleasantly over the chewy stretch of Injeolmi. “Banban Mountain,” where you can enjoy black sesame seeds and soybean powder at the same time, is also a popular menu.

“Something About Coffee” was newly opened near Sinnonhyeon Station in April of this year. The colorful sweets placed in the center of the store, such as scones, Huinang city, and pound cake, are pleasing to the eye. The signature menu, “Injeolmi Crumble,” is an attractive combination of Injeolmi cream that wraps the tongue tightly and Injeolmi mochi, which is crunchy in the middle. Note that the types of desserts that are prepared change every day.

“Torabi” creates a cozy atmosphere with wooden furniture and cute interior accessories. The signature menu is “Injeolmi Pavlova,” which is made by putting fresh animal cream, ice cream, and soybean flour on top of a thick, baked meringue. If you cut Pavlova from the center to the end like a pizza and eat it in one bite, you can experience the three textures of fluffiness, chewiness, and crunchiness at the same time.

“Sparkling” presents Korean-style desserts using ingredients such as red persimmons, black sesame seeds, plums, mugwort, and sweet pumpkins. The signature menu, “Grilled Injeolmi,” is made by grilling Injeolmi to a crispy texture and garnished with honey and peanut sauce. Injeolmi, with its steaming seaweed, stands out for its contrasting texture between the crispy outside and the chewy inside. I also like the “Hongshi Smoothie,” which contains the unique sweetness of Hongshi.

â–²Location: 28-1 Insadong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul

▲Business hours: 12:00 — 22:00 every day

â–²Price: Grilled Injeolmi 9,000 won, Hongsi smoothie 8,000 won

â–²Testimonial (Shikigin Melon4342): When I took a bite of grilled Injeolmi, which is puffy on the outside, I liked the savory yet light flavor. The point is that the honey that comes with it has a yuzu scent that enhances the flavor! Drinks made with traditional ingredients are good because they aren't sweet.
