²Testimonial (Shikigami, Fox Star): I went to Gogiri Makguksu, which is said to be the originator of perilla oil makguksu. It was made of a clean hanok, and there was a lot of weight. (The perilla oil makguksu noodles are seasoned and you can eat them with seaweed powder sprinkled on them without mixing them! First of all, the smell is really fragrant!! After half eating, you can pour in the broth and eat it, but I personally think it was much more delicious just eat~hehe
2. ‘Soba Market Sunbawi Main Store’ in Gwacheon-dong, Gwacheon, made from 100% pure buckwheat and has an extraordinary fragrance

[Shikigami Tip]
Location: Sunbang-ri 5-7, Hoogol-ro, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do
Opening hours: 10:40 â 21:20 every day
Price: Perilla oil makguksu 9,000 won, pollock sashimi makguksu 9,000 won
Review (Kimminditti): Perilla oil makguksu comes with soba noodles sprinkled with perilla oil, seaweed powder, and sesame seeds, and served with boiled eggs. The noodles were made from 100% pure buckwheat, so the aroma of the soba was very different. The more you chew, the more the savory flavor of perilla oil blends harmoniously with the soba noodles. I also recommend mentaikai makguksu. The chewy pollock sashimi and the sweet and spicy sauce are addictive!
3. Makguksu wrapped in salty persimmons, ‘Bang Bang Makguksu’ in Dogok-dong, Seoul

Testimonial (Daily Diet): It’s perilla oil makguksu wrapped in persimmons! It’s not a boiled egg, but rolled up an egg and topped it as a garnish, and the visuals are amazing! Does it go well with persimmons and makguksu? But when I wrapped it in persimmons, it was really delicious!! I feel like the salty flavor of persimmons is added to the savory perilla oil makguksu to balance the flavors!
4. The savory flavor of perilla oil spreading softly, ‘Jiamri Mountain Makguksu’ in Songdo-dong, Incheon

Testimonial (I really buy it alone): As soon as I ordered it, it came out right away, and the turnover rate was fast. You can eat the perilla oil makguksu as it is without rubbing it; the finely ground seaweed powder is sprinkled on top, and you can enjoy the rich aroma of kosun. I really liked the flavor of perilla oil that spread softly when I ate the hororok~^^
5. Jeju Pure Soba Makguksu in Seogwipo City, Jeju, made from perilla oil freshly squeezed from a mill

[Shikigami Tip]
Location: 60, Nokcha Bonjae-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do

Review (Shikigami Giant Chopper â¡): The most memorable food I’ve eaten during my trip to Jeju. It was close to Shinhwa World, so it was easy to get there, and the parking lot was spacious, so it was convenient. I ate perilla oil makguksu that can be eaten without being irritating! It’s a simple combination of perilla oil, seaweed powder, and sesame powder on the soba noodles, and it was really delicious… Hmm, perilla oil made directly from the mill, so it’s a savory and deep flavor! When you finish eating, pour in dongchimi broth and stir to eat, the refreshing aftertaste is excellent. If I come to Jeju Island next time, I’ll have to go again!
