“Camilo Hannam” is an Italian restaurant run by Chef Kim Nak-young, who runs Italian restaurants “Camillo Lasaneria” and “Cento Percento” in Hapjeong-dong. It presents Italian home-cooked meals based on the concept of “Lucca” and “Rivonello” in remote towns in central Italy. The signature menu is “camillo-style ragu lasagna,” which is baked in an oven by applying besamel sauce and ragu sauce between thin slices of dough. Ragu sauce made from beef, pork, and lamb simmered over a long period of time is infused with the heavy flavor of the meat, adding an even richer flavor. If you cut lasagna into bite-size pieces and eat it in one bite, the rich flavor of the ragu sauce blends harmoniously with the chewy texture of the lasagna noodles.

I ate a camillo-style ragu lasagna and it was a complete surprise..! It wasn't salty and the noodles were chewy, so it was really delicious.

“Sesta” was newly opened in Hannam-dong by Chef Kim Se-gyeong of 'Hugh 135', famous for its dry-aging steaks. Fresh seasonal ingredients and a variety of meats are grilled and served using charcoal only. The signature menu, “Dry-Aged Tomahawk Steak,” is a tomahawk with three parts of beef sirloin, shrimp, and rib meat, coated with yeast powder and dry-aged for 3 to 4 weeks, then grilled on a grill and served to customers. It is served with pepperonata grilled over charcoal with paprika, chives, and cucumber and pepper. When you put grilled vegetables on meat with moist juice flowing out, the aroma of charcoal spreads softly throughout your mouth. You can enjoy different flavors and textures in each part, from sirloin, which has a rich juiciness, to shrimp meat that boasts tender meat, and rib meat that stands out for its savory flavor.

There are over 200 types of wine available for wine pairings with the right combination for each menu, so I recommend enjoying them with wine.

“Monthly Restaurant” is a place run by Chef Ahn Kyung-seok, who has experience in 3 Michelin star restaurants in Italy, and is known as a hideout for singer Yoon Jong-shin. You can find Italian cuisine based on Japanese cooking techniques and a diverse list of alcoholic beverages. Dark green walls, wood-tone walls and furniture, and warm lighting combine to create a classic atmosphere. The signature menu is “beef rib style charcoal-grilled lamb ribs,” where lamb ribs cooked in sous vide are grilled over charcoal one more time and served with french fries and red pepper fritters. Lamb ribs are marinated in a special rib sauce to minimize the unique smell of sheep, so even people who have trouble getting close to lamb can feel free to try it. Charcoal-flavored lamb ribs are full of gravy and have a characteristic texture that melts in your mouth the moment you put them in your mouth.

â–²Review (Shikigami Lee Eung-don PD): A place I only want to know! The signature dish, beef rib style charcoal-grilled lamb ribs, is cut into pieces that are easy to eat after taking pictures. I can't believe the lamb is so soft! It was nice that they didn't have any special flavors unique to sheep, and they also had the scent of charcoal fire. It goes best with deep-fried peppers.

4. “Corso” in Hannam-dong, where you can find authentic Italian cuisine

“Corso” is an authentic Italian restaurant located at 494 Gomei in Hannam-dong. This is the third project of 'TEAM JOEY F&B' after 'Pasto' in Cheongdam-dong and 'Further Down' in Dongbuichon-dong. The signature menu “Octopus” is finished by putting grilled octopus sprinkled with almond powder on top of edamame, then adding ink puree and lime. The combination of grilled octopus leg, rich ink puree, and fragrant celery oil to create an addictive flavor that makes use of its chewy texture. “Truffle,” which is made by putting a bechamel base and cheese on a dough and topping a baked pizza with thin slices of fresh truffle, is also popular. The soft scent of truffles is added to the chewy dough, and a diverse feast unfolds in the mouth.

â–²Testimonial (I really live alone): There are bar seats and table seats, but I think I almost always have to reserve a table. The atmosphere was also nice because of the soft lighting. Octopus made as an appetizer is a magic that makes large octopus legs come out of the mouth as soon as you eat them! Usually, octopus is too tough to eat, but it melts in my mouth!

5. 'D' Tempore 'in Hannam-dong, offering a variety of course meals

“Dtempo” is in the form of a neo bistro, which is an intermediate concept between bistro and fine dining. Course meals are made using the most delicious seasonal ingredients right now. The August lunch menu starts with chou containing monkfish liver cream, sugared corn soup, and homemade pre-meal bread, followed by tuna with sliced melon, seasonal fish dishes, main dish, apricot sorbet, coffee or tea. Among the course dishes, you can choose between “toshi meat,” which brings out the rich juiciness and rich flavor of meat to the fullest, and “haddbo,” a veal thymus dish with a mild texture and rich flavor. If you add a “wine pairing”, you can enjoy 3 glasses of wine that will add richness of flavor, such as sparkling, white, and red wine.

â–²Review (Shikigami Weying): Chef Kim Tae-min, who ran Lung Pang's in Seongsu-dong, is offering course meals at a newly opened place. I went to lunch, and the combination of eating tuna and melons together was fresh. The pork belly I chose for the main menu was the most delicious because of its rich juiciness and tender texture. If you say it's an anniversary when you make a reservation, you can also get a lettering service, so be sure to come on the anniversary too!
