The cool autumn weather was just around the corner, and winter, when my body shrunk in the cold wind, came right around the corner. When my body shudders from the raging wind, I think of a sharp yet hot soup. On a day like this, a bowl of âchampon,â made by sweetly stir-frying vegetables, meat, and seafood with spicy condiments, then adding broth and rolling up the noodles, is perfect. Nowadays, spicy champon, which maximizes the spiciness by adding rat dung pepper and cheongyang pepper, is popular. When I constantly slurp off the chewy soup and chewy noodles that pop up on my tongue, an empty bowl is placed before I know it. The addictive spiciness that you can't miss while sweating not only relieves stress, but also warms a frozen body. Here are 5 of the best spicy champon restaurants full of hot flavors.

With a bowl of jajangmyeon, âSsangpalbanjeom Mapo Gongdeok Branchâ is a mutual expression of the meaning of continuing the happy price and quantity of the double eight years. After starting as a delivery specialty store, it continued to gain popularity and even opened a whole store. It's a place where you can find fusion Chinese food with trendy sensibility, such as shrimp jajang, meat jajang, Chinese bacon, kimchi, fried rice, etc. The signature menu âSpecial Champonâ uses seafood such as mussels, clams, and squid, as well as pork, to create a heavy yet refreshing soup flavor. The special champon, which has a sharp broth soaked between the noodles, enhances the chewy flavor with sweet, ripe vegetables and hearty ingredients. You can adjust the spiciness level from level 1 to level 3 according to your preferences. The âone-person setâ menu, which offers meal menus and popular food menus at reasonable prices, is also popular among honbap families. It's a great place to enjoy a meal consisting of cha-chan, champon, and fried rice, and a cooking menu consisting of kabarou, menbosha, and Chinese shrimp in a combination that suits your taste.

â²Opening hours: 10:00 â 22:00 every day
â²Price: Special champon 8,000 won, set for 1 person 9,900 to 13,400
â²Testimonial (Shikigin Wonnaschan lol): It was a very tasty place to eat in the Delivery Nation, but I also visited the store because it was close to home. I ordered a special champon from the champon pie, but it had plenty of noodles as well as meat and seafood, so I was completely full after eating one bowl! The soup wasn't greasy either, so I didn't feel uncomfortable even if I ate all of the soup. The price was too expensive to make and eat the prawn dishes, but they were sold in units of 6, so it's great that they can be sold as a single item or as a set menu!
2. Yeoju Changdong's âYujajangâ, where the spiciness becomes stronger the more you eat

âYujajaâ is a red signboard with yellow letters on it, and you can feel the long-standing force. They have competed with only two menus: the main menu âchamponâ and the side menu âtempura gyoza.â Champon is divided into 5 flavors, from early to early, early, half stage, and level 1, where fried bulgogi noodles are spicy. The champon, which is made by stir-frying vegetables at the same time as ordering, combines crunchy vegetables with chewy noodles to create a rich texture. At the beginning of the soup, the cool flavor spreads pleasantly, and the spiciness becomes stronger as you eat it, and it boasts an addictive flavor. It's attractive that the inside doesn't feel bloated even after a meal, thanks to the soup that is not greasy and falls clean and just right.

â²Testimonial (Let's eat another meal): It used to be famous when I went to Infinity Challenge, but I went there because it was a chance when I went nearby. The squid and shrimp were also packed in a fresh package, but they weren't small and the size was big. I often eat spicy food, so the early days were the most delicious and spicy, and I was sweaty from the beginning. Juicy grilled gyoza is delicious on its own, and if you eat champon in the middle and take a bite when the spiciness reaches its peak, you can start over!
3. The rich flavor added by sweet and spicy yakiniku, Paju Bongseori âMatna Banjangâ

âMadna Bantenâ is a place where you can enjoy a unique type of champon that you can't easily find anywhere else. The characteristic is that it is topped full of yakiniku toppings flavored with soy sauce made from apples steamed in a steamer. The signature menu âBulgogi Mada Champonâ is a mixture of Vietnamese chili powder, cheongyang pepper powder, and regular red pepper powder in a 2:2:6 ratio to show off a deep spiciness. It is quickly stir-fried over high heat, and the savory flavor of the meat melts into the soup and adds a rich aroma. If you want a more intense flavor, try the âyakiniku liver champon,â which is made with its own soup. The more you chew the noodles that are deeply soaked in the soup, the more the spicy flavor spreads.

â²Testimonial (Shikigami Pororiya): The yakiniku placed on top of champon is delicious even if you just eat the yakiniku so much that you can eat a bowl of rice. I even added a fried egg and ate it, but when the egg yolk popped up and I ate it with the rich soup, it was twice as savory! There are lots of mussels and blue crab seafood underneath the meat, so you can eat a lot of meat and seafood!

â²Price: Red pepper champon 8,000 won, pepper champon rice 8,500 won
â²Testimonial (Shikigin Bling Bling Yoni): Even if I order red pepper champon rice, they go with fried rice, but I always want to eat noodles together, so I eat a combination of pepper champon plus fried rice. Chilli champon feels like it breaks right away as soon as you add the soup! It feels like the alcohol wakes up right away as the inside, which was really blocked, opens up. When I have some leftover noodles, I roll up the rice and eat it together with a spoon, and I'm full until dinner that day. hehe
5. 'Imseongbanjeom' in Yongdam-dong, Jeju, famous as a must-see for a trip to Jeju

â²Location: Jeju Jeju Yonghwa-ro 57-1
â²Opening hours: 10:50 â 20:00 every day, closed on Sundays
â²Price: Pepper champon 9,000 won, soy sauce 7,000 won
â²Review (Shikigami Melon4342): What kind of Chinese cuisine is on Jeju Island, but I definitely recommend visiting this place at least once! Other dishes are delicious, but you should definitely try pepper champon here. It contains a lot of seafood such as oysters, squid, and shrimp, and the firm texture is still there. If you mix sweet and sour pork and eat spicy champon and then sweet and sour pork, you can eat them all without difficulty! Originally, I didn't eat all the soup, but the soup here was so delicious that I took a break.
