korean food / seoul / 5 best Seoul date hotspots where the night is more beautiful than the day – 2895

I couldn't enjoy the spring weather, which shone like a well-cut diamond, and summer is just around the corner. It's better to enjoy the night in Seoul these days than during the day. The slightly lower temperature and the sparkling lights of the shop exude a romantic mood. Let's take a look at 5 of the hottest date spots in Seoul these days that combine sensuous interiors and delicious food to make a date even more successful.

1. Italian dining that only I want to know, “Meladimore” in Songpa

Meladimore is turning visitors into loyal customers one after another and is becoming a hot flow in Seokchon. This is fine dining by Chef Lim Tae-woo, who has gained experience in Italy. It's a small space that can accommodate about 10 people with die-shaped bar seats, so it's a great place to have a quiet conversation. The course changes every season, and the kind explanations with maps open my heart. If it's an anniversary, they also offer a congratulatory message service, so be sure to check it out.

â–²Price: 49,000 won for 1 copy, 79,000 won for 2 copies

â–²Review (Shikigami, Natural Beauty): The chef was very kind and attentive, so I felt good throughout the meal. The course price is reasonable enough to make you wonder if there's anything left over at this price.

2. Capturing the sunset and night view of the Han River in a wine glass, 'Mood Seoul' in Jamwon

Located on Solbitseom, it is a place where you can enjoy wine and dining while enjoying a panoramic view of the Han River. Reservations are very intense, as is the view. The feeling is different when the sun is out, when it's at sunset, and when it's completely dark, so I recommend entering before sunset. I like seafood dishes that go well with white wine, but I recommend “flounder carpaccio,” which has a sweet and sour flavor, as a starter.

â–²Opening hours: 17:00 – 23:00 every day, closed on Mondays

â–²Price: Flounder carpaccio 19,000 won, vongole 26,000 won, salmon tartare 24,000 won

â–²Review (Shikigami Insane Sunmi): A must-visit date destination! I don't know how beautiful it is when sunlight is reflected in the shimmering Han River. All of the dishes are delicious, but the portions are small, so I recommend visiting with a meal.

A steakhouse located at the entrance to Seorae Village. The exterior, decorated in dark blue and gold, gives it a formal yet clean feel. Aiming to popularize porterhouse steak, where you can enjoy both sirloin and tenderloin, they are offering a steak course at a reasonable price. The well-grilled steak is full of buttery flavor and has a rich meat flavor; the sirloin part is chewy, and the tenderloin part has a soft, melt-in-your-mouth flavor.

â–²Location: 5 Sapyeong-daero 22-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul

â–²Business hours: 11:30 – 22:00 every day (B/T 15:00 – 17:30)

â–²Price: L-bone A Set 181,000 won, Porterhouse B Set 240,000 won, Porterhouse 700g 175,000 won

â–²Review (Shikigami Hem-chan): Seorae Village is so famous that there are many family meals. The interior is also luxurious, so it's a great place to visit on an anniversary. There is a set menu for two, and I recommend it because it's hearty and good value for money. The sirloin is juicy and very tender.

A bar located on the top floor of Sofitel, which is popular these days. When you walk through the space-themed hallway and walk into the store, you are amazed by the high floors and the night view of Seoul seen through the glass windows. Signature cocktails, craft beers, and simple chef-recommended snacks are available. Events such as DJ performances and whiskey dinners are also held on a regular basis.

â–²Location: 209 Jamsil-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul

â–²Business hours: 17:00 – 25:00 every day

â–²Price: VENUS 28,000 won, SATURN 28,000 won, Daikiri 25,000 won, Paloma 25,000 won

â–²Review (Shikigami Jangwon Wanga): From the entrance, the atmosphere was completely hip, and I liked it. Be sure to go to the bathroom too. It's so pretty. Surprisingly, the chicken is delicious.

A must-visit place for any dessert lover couple who loves sweets. Gamdo, located in the basement of Seongsu D Tower, is a space that aims to be a 'fine dessert cafe'. The plating desserts collaborated with Chef Lee Eun-ah's Dessert Kitchen UNAS are excellent in terms of plating, taste, and unique expression. It's even better to enjoy it with coffee made from specialty grade beans brought from Micro Rat Farm.

â–²Location: 83-21 Wangsimni-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul

â–²Opening hours: 10:30 – 22:00 every day

â–²Price: Pebble basil field 18,000 won, yuzu mille-feuille 14,000 won, baked potato creme brulee 15,000 won

â–²Review (Shikigami Papamon): It's very popular because of its unique atmosphere. I think it would be better to make a reservation in advance. It was nice that the composition of the pebble basil field was unusual and the flavor was unique.
