It has a sensibility that can only be obtained in a hanok. The unique scent emanating from old trees, the straight and neat compartments, yet the overwhelming feeling of the rafters supporting the roof. There are places where you can sit in the middle of a hanok like this and enjoy a nice glass of cocktail and beer. Here are 5 of the best hanok bars to enjoy in Seoul.
1. Seochon 'Cobbler', full of lyricism

A hanok house bar full of lyricism. The dark lighting in the stylish interior with exposed rafters adds flavor. There is no separate menu, and it is characterized by asking about the strength of the sake and the flavor you like and brewing according to your taste. Once an order is placed, an American-style pie called âcobbler,â which is the same as the name of the store, is offered as a service. Cobbler baked by putting fruit in a concave bowl and covering it with cookie dough has a sweet flavor and is a suitable snack when paired with bitter sake.

You can enjoy craft beer, coffee, tea, and cocktails in a small space converted from a house. There is a small courtyard in the shape of a courtyard, so when the weather is nice, it's a great place to enjoy alcoholic beverages while enjoying the wind outside. The âsausage plateâ is a popular combination of herbs, chicken chipolata, merguez sausage, bacon, cheese, olives, and salad, which goes well with any alcoholic beverage.

World-famous bartender Lim Byung-jin's hanok bar. The space that sought a bar that anyone could easily drop in is clearly evident in the space woven from oak wood. It consists of a bar table and table seats, and the bar table where you can intuit the cocktail brewing process is popular. We suggest cocktails according to your taste, and it's interesting that there are a number of cocktails based on traditional Korean sake.

It is the Seoul branch of the famous tender bar in Ginza, Tokyo, close to Gyeongbokgung Station. The yokan that is served as a basic ingredient goes so well with whiskey that it can be said to be a ârediscovery of yokan,â you will be amazed. Along with whiskey, I like hard shaking cocktails made with various liqueurs. The friendly service that flows like water in a calm atmosphere is a bonus

The entrance to the store is made of glass, making it feel like a cafe. Although it is a renovated hanok, the bright and meticulous interior, centered around white, is full of a modern yet pure Korean atmosphere. Located in the middle of the store, it is a nice place to visit during the day, as it is bathed in sunshine and is a nice place to visit during the day. The signature cocktails were well-explained, so it was easy to choose, and I was careful to be able to go with a bite-sized side dish.
