âSeosunra-gilâ refers to a small street running west from Jongmyo Shrine. The name comes from 'Sunra', which used to be a patrol system in the Joseon Dynasty. If you're walking between the quiet, stone-walled alleys that Sunra-gun used to walk, you'll forget for a moment that this is the center of complicated Seoul. Pack your memories in a quiet alley where past and present coexist.

Seoul Gipsy is a brewery pub located on the stone wall path of Jongmyo Shrine. A tasteful space where you can see the sun when the sun rises and the stars when the stars rise is attractive. Experimental beers made from local ingredients by sophisticated brewers await. The tab list changes frequently, so it's fresh even if you visit often. I also recommend all of the simple snacks that go well with beer.

Queen's Guard is known as a rising spot on Seosunra-gil these days. It's a unique place where an English husband and a Korean wife meet to make and sell handmade English-style soaking liquor. The space separated from the first floor and basement has an exotic feel, so you can feel like you've come on a trip. Located at the end of Seosunra-gil, Ida is a space that offers Korean food, traditional sake, and natural wine using a seasonal menu. The plating, which has an excellent color as well as the taste of the food, evokes admiration just by looking at it. The popular menu âFlounder Cevicheâ is made by putting heavily trimmed flounder on top of mayo sauce and finishing with olive oil and herbs. We also recommend the âstone octopusâ dish, which goes perfectly with mashed potatoes, octopus, and sriracha sauce.
