Hongdae/Yeonnam-dong | Dongchabab : A meal prepared
by Dongguk Yeonnam-dong was not easy to get to because it was far from Sangsu/Hapjeong. It is a representative neighborhood where many popular restaurants have sprung up, a commercial area has been formed, and the floating population is increasing .
Yeonnam-dong is said to have seen the biggest increase in rents in Seoul in the fourth quarter of last year. I couldn't help but think about the light and shadow of gentrification. Will good stores keep their place after 5 years?
Well , in line with the name âA meal prepared by Dongguk,â Yeonnam-dong sells meals like a local restaurant I went to Dongchabbap.

actually wanted to eat a raw salmon rice bowl, but I chose a different menu because my sister J, who went with me, ordered a raw salmon rice bowl. I think I should try a variety of menus, and I want to leave a variety of photos of this bottle…
Dongchabap's raw salmon rice bowl was easy on my palate even when I was bored with the diet, and Sister J, the owner of the menu, also commented that it was delicious .
The side dishes are also clean
And the dongchabbap tonkatsu I ordered. No matter where you eat tonkatsu, it's an easy menu that goes over the middle, so I ordered it without much anticipation.
When I received the food, it was in a very good condition, and the meat was thick and clean, so it was really nice for my mom to fry it at home It felt like pork cutlet.
Also , the stir-fried cabbage that came out as a side dish was amazing.
When you eat Japanese tonkatsu, cabbage salad is the basic dish, but dongcha bap is served stir-fried with cabbage. Since it was a side dish, the flavor kept the liver to a minimum, so I enjoyed it very deliciously. My stomach isn't good these days, so I felt grateful for the warm stir-fry .
Since that day, I have been eating stir-fried cabbage at home. Cabbage, chicken breast, green onions, and minced garlic are lightly seasoned with soy sauce and eaten as a side dish every morning, and I really like it .
(I said it was a side dish, but I actually eat more than rice)

The food comes out slowly, and the restaurant is small, so I think it's a good idea to relax when visiting. The local atmosphere itself was calm, and so was the dongchabap atmosphere, which made me feel like I had come to the countryside. A lot of people might think it's a restaurant that only I want to know, but this place is already very famous .
When I opened the orange door of the house and walked in, the bathroom with a rural feel from the 90s also felt quite stylish.
Next time, I'd like to try other menus, such as shrimp mayo, gyoza, and sweet and sour pork that I haven't eaten. For some reason, they all seem to have healthy flavors, so I'm excited.
