Christmas, whose name alone makes my heart flutter, has returned. From busy newcomers to relaxed couples, many people who have been waiting for this day are preparing for the perfect date to have a happy Christmas. However, finding the perfect restaurant is as difficult as finding a needle in the sand. Christmas restaurants with a romantic atmosphere, be sure to check out the recommendations from the SNS Food Appraisal Group today!
1. Michelin-starred chef’s contemporary grill restaurant ‘Engill’ (link)
NGrill, located at the highest point in N Seoul Tower, is the only restaurant in Korea where you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Seoul. This restaurant has a round shape, and since the lower part of the table seat rotates slowly, you can enjoy a panoramic view from various directions. The couple seats, where you can sit side by side by the window, have a private structure, so it’s perfect for just the two of you to enjoy a quiet meal. It’s very famous for proposals and date restaurants, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. Bacon-wrapped Korean beef tenderloin steak course (110,000 won)

2. ‘Gyeongridan-gil Duzel’, a wine made with good people in a warm atmosphere (link)

Located on Gyeongridan-gil in Itaewon, Duzel is a professional wine shop and restaurant that no one who knows a little bit about wine knows. The first floor is a shop that sells wine, and it operates restaurants from the 2nd floor to the roof of the 4th floor. This place has a warm, old-fashioned interior that stimulates an analog sensibility, so you can enjoy your meal in a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere. For a Christmas date, I recommend a window seat with a good view of Seoul’s night view and Namsan Tower, but the window seats are limited to 8 seats, so be sure to book in advance. A Christmas Eve limited course consisting of soup, salmon gravlax, salad, tomato shrimp braised chilli, Korean beef tenderloin steak, and dessert wine is offered for 120,000 won per person.
3. Let’s eat like the main character in the drama ‘Ilsan Opera Divas’ (link)
The Italian restaurant Opera Divas, which has a beautiful glass exterior, is a restaurant with unique performances such as live music and art exhibitions on special days, as the name of the store suggests. It is located near Haengjusanseong in Ilsan, Goyang City, so it’s a great place to take a car to a quiet suburb and spend the day enjoying a fun performance. It consists of 1 and 2 floors, and you can enjoy a meal with a performance on the 1st floor, and the 2nd floor consists of a Korean network of seats. A limited menu and special performance will be held for Christmas, and a 2-person set with salad, pasta, crayfish sirloin steak, cake, and dessert will be offered for 140,000 won. Show off your sense of checking and reserving seats through the website.

4. Enjoy a luxurious Christmas nearby ‘Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul’ (link)
Banyan Tree Club & Spa, an urban resort where you can relax in Namsan Mountain, is a membership-only hotel, but the restaurant can also be used by regular guests. Granum Dining and The Festa Bistro, which are representative restaurants here, adorn the tree beautifully for Christmas and welcome guests with special promotional dishes. Granum Dining, an Asian cuisine specialty restaurant located on the 1st floor of the hotel building, is hosting a ‘Mary Crabmas’ promotion showcasing Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Malaysian cuisines as well as Singapore’s signature dish, chili & pepper crab. Prices range from 59,000 won to 99,000 won for adults. Also, The Festa Bistro, located in the annex, is a place where you can feel like a resort in the middle of the city, and it’s fun to enjoy a meal while watching the ice rink outside the window in the winter. There will be a âFesta Navidadâ promotion offering a gourmet brunch buffet (99,000 won) and a course dinner (150,000 won) during the Christmas period and at the end of the year.

I highly recommend this place if you don’t like being hit by crowds no matter where you go during the Christmas season. May Dining, located in Musugol at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain, is a European dining restaurant located in a land of about 20,000 square meters, where you can spend a relaxing Christmas in a quiet and cozy space. Chef Kim Dong-hyeon from Burj Al Arab Restaurant in Dubai is in charge of the kitchen. A place that became even more famous as she often appeared on TV programs such as healing camps. The limited menu, which is only available on Christmas Eve and day, is based on a Korean beef sirloin steak and offers a course meal with luxurious ingredients such as red sea pudding, spiced grasini, velouté, and yellowtail from Jeju. Also popular is the BBQ (55,000 won) set where sirloin, pork belly, etc. are grilled with oak wood on the outdoor terrace.
