Gourmet at Nowon Station, a bar with a nice atmosphere in Shioko (fresh strawberry makgeolli)
Shioko Location/Exterior
Sioko is located 1 to 2 minutes from exits 9 and 10 of Nowon Station (Line 4).
Although it's located underground, you can see the large yellow sign at a glance
It also includes pictures of what kind of menu they have, so I think it's easy to find them.
Apparently they have settled in the Nowon commercial district, where there are many young people, so this seems essential.
Shioko interior
When I went down the stairs to the basement, there was a larger and cleaner space than I had anticipated.
The atmosphere was so bright that I didn't think it was underground, and the interior was clean.
The wooden table had a good selection of colors, so I was even more impressed.
I'm ready to enjoy it.
Now, take a look.
It's nice to have a picture with a menu like this.
Basically, it's about getting minimal information about food.
Shioko Price/ Menu
I also added some explanation to the menu, which may be unfamiliar from the name.
It's nice that it's definitely not just a menu with names written on it.
The price range is usually between 15,000 and 20,000 won, which is average.
Filled with pictures of food that look delicious.
I think it would be nice if there was a light explanation of what kind of food it is here as well.
Soft tofu served as a basic snack.
Sesame sauce with a little bit of dried bonito flakes.
In addition to soft tofu, it would be even better if they also came with easy-to-eat puff pastry!
Fresh strawberry makgeolli 14,000 (1,000ml)
Even if you look at it at a glance, it's a real strawberry makgeolli with the color and seeds of a red strawberry.
Putting it in a wide wooden bowl makes it feel even more
Apparently the material is wood, so it's more suitable for makgeolli.
Among the restaurants at Nowon Station, Shioko is a memorable bar with a very good plating.
Chicken dung shop grilled with condiments 13,000
After putting in this place's special makchang sauce and baking it once
Once again stir-fried and flavored chicken poop or grilled chicken gizzards.
Personally, I think it would be nice if it was a little spicier.
After all, sake tastes best when you drink it in a transparent glass.
What's more, it's even better to be able to make use of the color of fresh red strawberry makgeolli.
Seeing that it has a yogurt flavor, it seems that in addition to strawberries, some yogurt was added to harmonize the flavor.
A chicken poop shop with a unique, chewy texture.
The flavor of the fire was just right, and the sauce was just right, so I remember eating it deliciously.
It's a snack that goes really well with soju, but it also goes well with makgeolli.
Nagasaki Champon 17,000
Nagasaki-style champon made with beef bone broth, udon noodles, and vegetables.
I remember missing the spiciness from this day on, and wishing it would be spicy again and again.
Still, it's not irritating, and I think I ate better because I ate it mildly.
I sautéed the cabbage and onion well so that they had a fresh texture
Mussels and squid are also occasionally included, so it's fun to pick and eat.
Thanks to this, the soup is both cool and in harmony with the beef bone broth.
The udon noodles feel like they have been cooked just right so they don't spread.
For some reason, these were snacks that reminded me of soju, but I wanted to eat lightly, this day's pass.
The soup was on the rich side, so I personally liked it.
They added a lot of soup, so I was sure, but I thought it would be nice to reduce the salinity a little bit.
If there was air rice, I wanted to add it and roll it up and eat it.
